Christen founded In Home Wedding Dance Lessons & Choreography in NYC over 7 years ago. When her friends started getting married, they asked her for help to make them feel comfortable during their first dance. Going to their homes seemed natural and comfortable for the couples. This is how In Home Wedding Dance Lessons & Choreography started! When she moved back to her hometown of Baltimore she began building her business. We have welcomed additional dance teachers to the team in order to serve a wider area including Baltimore, Annapolis, D.C., Alexandria, VA and surrounding areas.
We believe your first dance is one of the most memorable moments of a wedding. It should be a fun, relaxing, enjoyable experience! Our lessons will bring you and your partner even closer. And, no! You don't need any experience! There are so many fun dances that can make your day extra special. Father-Daughter dances, Mother-Son dances, and even bridal party dances can really set your reception apart! It brings us joy to get to know our clients and create masterpieces especially for them.

Rachel & Jurrie
"... She listened to our vision carefully, encouraged my somewhat anxious husband, and helped us perfectly choreograph an epic first dance with spins and even a lift! The look on everyone's face when they saw our dance will always be one of my favorite memories of our wedding."
Monica & Eli
"... It was a blast working with her. She was very patient with us, very clear, adjusted the dance steps accordingly if we weren't getting it, and made the steps very easy to remember.... We still remember some moves and actually do it whenever we hear Get Lucky -- whether it be at a bar or store."
Ashlyn & Joe
"She is dynamic, fun, flexible, engaging, and made us feel super comfortable. Quite honestly, our first dance was the most fun I’ve had before and since our wedding... You'll be so happy you worked with her"
Arbor & Jai
"Neither me nor my husband would really call ourselves dancers but she made the whole process so fun we couldn’t wait for our wedding dance! Anyone considering her should not think twice. She’s a great choreographer, a fun person, very reliable and flexible. Working with her was awesome!"
